Hackensack Meridian Health Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant Per Diem in Brick, New Jersey
Join our Interventional Radiology team at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick, NJ, as a Per Diem Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or a Physician Assistant. In this fast-paced inpatient role, you will work collaboratively with the IR team to assess, plan, and implement care for patients undergoing complex procedures. The position requires a high degree of clinical autonomy and includes a required on-call commitment. PICC placement and procedural experience needed.
Required Education & Experience:
Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Proven clinical competency maintained through ongoing clinical practice and continuing education.
Experience in a relevant patient care setting.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with computer platforms, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
Ability to maintain a collaborative practice agreement with staff physicians.
Required Licenses & Certifications:
Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
Active Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) certification in New Jersey.
Board certification from AANP or ANCC.
BLS (AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP) Certification.
National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Active CDS and DEA registrations for prescriptive authority in New Jersey.
Preferred Licenses & Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
Physician Assistant
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms
Licenses and Certifications Required:
Physician Assistant License.
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
