FT Echocardiogram and Vascular Sonographer
(1) Full time position available
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must demonstrate competency in ultrasound by receiving one of the following credentials in vascular ultrasound technology: 1. Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) provided by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) 2. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) provided by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) 3. Vascular Sonographer (VS) provided by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography (ARRT) (S). 4. Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Must maintain 30 continuing education units tri-annually if required.
DUTIES and TASKS: 1. Echocardiograms 2. Stress Echocardiograms 3. Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms 4. Carotid Ultrasounds 5. Arterial Ultrasounds 6. ABI with and without exercise 7. Venous Ultrasounds 8. Aorta Ultrasounds 9. All other duties as assigned
