Cubitek Inc Quality Control Inspector / Engineer in Brentwood, New York
Position Summary:
Cubitek is seeking a motivated Quality Control professional to support inspection and quality assurance activities within our precision manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a candidate with a mechanical engineering degree (or equivalent) who is eager to learn and grow. We are willing to train the right individual. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final inspections of machined and fabricated components
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.)
Document inspection results and maintain quality records
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconforming parts
Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality system compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and inspection methods
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and be trained in company-specific processes and systems
