Description
Our client is looking for a skilled Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their team. This role involves managing personal injury cases from intake through settlement, ensuring efficient resolution while maximizing case value. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of pre-litigation processes, contributing to a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
• Handle a high-volume caseload of personal injury cases from intake through settlement.
• Assess liability, damages, and overall case value to develop strategic approaches.
• Guide clients through treatment plans and the progression of their cases.
• Collect, review, and organize medical records, bills, and supporting documents.
• Prepare and submit detailed demand packages to insurance carriers.
• Conduct settlement negotiations to resolve cases effectively prior to litigation.
• Identify cases requiring escalation to litigation and oversee a seamless transition.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams to ensure case updates.
• Collaborate with support staff to optimize case outcomes and efficiency.
Requirements
• Hold a valid attorney California Bar license.
• Possess 3–6 years of experience in personal injury law with a focus on pre-litigation.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful settlements.
• Exhibit sound judgment in evaluating case value and risks.
• Show proficiency in managing a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality.
• Display excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Have familiarity with medical records and injury-related treatments.
• Showcase strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
