Matrix Providers has civilian opportunities for Certified or Registered Medical Assistants to provide full-time outpatient services in the Family Practice Clinic located at the Naval Hospital Bremerton in Bremerton, WA.

  • Employment Status: Full Time (Coverage Position)

  • Role: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant

  • Schedule: Monday Friday | 7:30 AM to 5:00pm | 8.5 hour shifts

  • Compensation: This is an hourly position, $23.61 to $26.50/hr

Qualification Requirements:

  • Degree/Education: Certificate / Graduate from a medical assistant training program from any accredited collegiate institution or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.

  • Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support (must be either American Heart Association or American Red Cross): Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medica Assistant certification by the American Medical Technologists

  • (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) from the National Health Career Association (NCA), and Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).

  • Experience: One year of experience as a Medical Assistant after graduation preferred.

  • Certified/Registered Medical Assistant Duties: Duties apply to all ages and stages based on Departmental requirements. Prepare examination rooms prior to patient's arrival.
