About the Role Kitsap Credit Union is actively hiring for Member Associate I, II and III (Teller/Personal Banker) positions all over the area, including: our East Bremerton branch. These positions are responsible for creating exceptional member experience while processing transactions, as well as offering and demonstrating all-digital, remote and self-service options. Quick Facts Reports to: Assistant Branch Manager Employment Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt, in-person Bonus Target: 5% of base pay potential incentive bonus if the credit union hits its goals Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 6pm, Saturday 9am - 1pm; 40-hour work week Grade: 5BC Industry: Banking Job Functions:Tellering, Teller, Banker, Banking, Member Representative Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Assist members with their financial needs and transactions. Identify, develop, and refer business relationships to build market position. * Educate and introduce current and new members to new products and services and assist in self-service options. * Foster and maintain constructive member relationships. * Review and maintain knowledge of products. * Understand and recommend products and services based on the member's needs. * Participate in sales and community events to contribute to branch and credit union goals. * Use effective sales techniques that result in a positive member experience and meet or exceed sales goals. * Maintain knowledge and adhere to operational, regulatory, security, and compliance standards. * Accept and process all financial transactions accurately. * Maintain responsibility and follows proper balancing procedures. * Promote and effectively demonstrate digital, remote and self-serve options, with continual education as new products and digital services are introduced. * Proactively generate new memberships through branch sales activities.
