Job Title: Assembler Job Description
This manufacturing position involves operating semiconductor-processing equipment in a cleanroom environment. The manufacturing operator is responsible for meeting daily production goals in support of cleanroom fabrication operations. The areas of concentration include photolithography, pattern transfer via wet and dry etching techniques, substrate cleaning, and metrology.
Responsibilities
Operate manually- or computer-controlled equipment to meet production and quality goals.
Set up and operate complex manual and computer-controlled equipment.
Work constructively with other team members to process wafers and optical components.
Utilize computer software to track operational performance and make minor corrections to improve productivity.
Follow quality management procedures and identify quality issues.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Multitask to perform other required duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Microscope experience.
Electronics assembly.
Manual dexterity and ability to learn complex machinery.
Ability to perform light lifting and carrying duties, and to sit and/or stand for an extended period of time (3-5 hours).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High-school diploma or GED.
Previous manufacturing experience in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
Experience with computer software related to semiconductor manufacturing is advantageous.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Work Environment
Employees work in a cleanroom environment requiring the use of special garments such as cleanroom suits, hoods, shoe covers, and gloves. Shifts are 12 hours with a 5% shift differential for days and 15% for nights, offering guaranteed 8 hours of overtime every other week. Breaks include three 30-minute intervals, with options to combine for a longer lunch. A cafeteria and breakroom with snack choices are available on-site. Duties involve handling chemicals while wearing personal protective equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $30.00/hr.
