Aerotek Automation Maintenance Technician in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania
Job Title: Automation Maintenance Technician
Primarily responsible for ensuring maximum uptime and performance of critical manufacturing tools. They are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on semiconductor equipment, often working in cleanroom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform complex, specialized maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on wafer fab equipment, such as PECVD, MOCVD, RIE, ICP, Photolithography, Sputtering, and E-beam Evaporators.
Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM tasks on equipment and tools to ensure 95% or better on-time completion, ensuring the long-term reliability of the tools.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and vacuum failures quickly to minimize production downtime.
Documentation & Reporting: Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and tool status updates in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or similar tools like eMaint.
Performance Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tool uptime (MTBF) and reduce mean time to repair (MTTR).
Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols, including working with hazardous chemical systems and acting as an active member of HAZMAT or emergency response teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Breinigsville, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
