Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tool and Die Maker to join their team. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-precision tools and dies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $32 - $37
Shift: 2nd Shift
What's the Job?
Operate all departmental machine tools to support manufacturing operations.
Construct, modify, or repair a variety of standard and non-standard tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to precise tolerances.
Produce most production dies for cold heading machines, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Independently perform the full scope of tool-making tasks, including setup and operation of machines such as lathes, surface grinders, honing machines, and hydraulic presses.
Obtain instructions, sketches, and blueprints from lead personnel and source raw materials from department stock.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED.
At least 5-10 years of related experience working as a tool maker with carbide.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints accurately.
Experience in aerospace or sheet metal manufacturing is preferred.
Proficiency in operating various machine tools and maintaining close tolerances.
