ManpowerGroup Operations Analyst-Banking Back-Office in Brea, California
Our client, a prominent financial institution, is seeking a Operations Analyst to join their team. As a Operations Analyst, you will be part of the Banking Back-Office team supporting various operational functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Operations Analyst
Location: Brea, CA (Onsite)
Pay Range: $35-40
What's the Job?
Handle ACH processing, returns, adjustments, encoding errors, and large item reviews ($5,000+)
Manage IRS backup withholding, year-end tax reporting, state escheatment, and dormant account reactivations
Perform GL Certifications, official check balancing (RITS), and reconcile the bank's cash vaults
Support IRA account processing, lockbox deposits, and setup of armored courier services
Process legal documents such as levies and subpoenas, and manage customer complaints and error resolution research
What's Needed?
2–3 years of experience in banking operations or related back-office functions
At least one year of teller experience and one year of customer service or account management experience
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with comfort navigating core banking systems and office equipment
Solid understanding of bank regulatory requirements and central operations procedures
Excellent analytical, time-management, and confidentiality skills
