Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a 2nd Shift Press Machine Operator to join their team. As a 2nd Shift Press Machine Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $23 - $33/hr (DOE)

What's the Job?
Perform, set up, and operate press machines to produce machined parts according to blueprints, specifications, and instructions.
Understand and interpret drawings, manuals, and work instructions to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
Monitor ongoing machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, making adjustments as needed.
Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
Record production data including piece count and run time, and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with 5-10 years of industrial machine shop experience preferred.
Experience with die press machines
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve minor machine issues.
