Position: Administrative Assistant (Summer Student)

Job Function: Marketing & Planning

Organization: HVAC/R Americas

Location(s): Brantford, ON, Canada

Copeland has a summer opening for an Administrative Assistant reporting to the Director, Product Marketing and Customer Engagement. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the business with day-to-day tasks within the departments and general office duties. This position will be based in the Canadian headquarters in Brantford, Ontario.

AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, YOU WILL:

· Contribute to the preparation of executive-level presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

· Assist in updating and creating new websites for Copeland training programs.

· Participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with different departments to gather information and insights.

· Support the implementation of strategic initiatives and track progress against established goals.

· Analyze and interpret data to provide insights that inform decision-making.

· Perform clerical duties such as answering phone, photocopying, collating, sorting, packing, etc.

WHO YOU ARE:

You balance the interests of multiple stakeholders. You create teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. You adjust communication to fit the audience and the message.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges

  • High attention to detail

  • Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship

In accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA), the hourly rate for this role is $23.29 CAD. Our success is measured by the positive impact we make on people, our communities, and the world in which we live.
