Position Summary
The Hotel Front Desk Associate (Evening) is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and professional hotel experience. The morning shift focuses on guest check-outs, reservations, billing accuracy, and setting the tone for the day's operations. The shift operation hours are from 3:00PM - 11:00PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and always provide exceptional customer service.
- Process guest check-outs accurately, including payments, invoices, and folios.
- Handle guest check-ins as needed during morning arrivals.
- Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with reservations.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and guest needs.
- Maintain accurate records in the property management system.
- Balance cash drawer and complete required shift reports.
- Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and professional.
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills; hotel PMS experience a plus.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance.
Physical and Schedule Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
