Job Title: Welder - FULL BENEFITS - PAY RAISE AT 60 DAYS - GROWING COMPANY

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder who will be responsible for performing welding, adjusting machine settings, and completing aluminum and stainless steel welding. Each day presents unique tasks as you will be working on custom parts for different customers. The role requires the ability to weld vertically, horizontally, and overhead, with a strong emphasis on inspecting and ensuring the quality of completed welds and final products. Occasionally, you may be required to grind and clean areas of the product as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding on aluminum and stainless steel.

  • Adjust machine settings and handle necessary fittings.

  • Weld vertically, horizontally, and overhead.

  • Inspect and ensure the quality of completed welds and final products.

  • Grind and clean product areas when necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of welding experience.

  • Proficiency in welding, aluminum, and stainless steel welding.

  • Ability to read blueprints and perform fabrication tasks.

  • Familiarity with hand tools and tape measures.

  • Capability to operate and understand all protective safety equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with MIG welding.

  • Ability to work with arms above head and lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance.

  • Experience in non-temperature-controlled environments.

Work Environment

Work in a clean facility with over 50 employees, where the environment is fast-paced and features tight quarters. Enjoy the variety of tasks in a custom shop with great potential for growth. Dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, or long sleeve shirts, with steel toes required. Work hours are from 4 PM to 4 AM, Monday through Wednesday, and Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Brandon, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $58240.00/yr.
