- Lead and actively participate in hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of CNC, screw machines, manual equipment, assembly systems, and facility infrastructure. - Provide technical leadership in electrical systems, including motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial control panels. - Plan, schedule, and manage the preventive maintenance program and CMMS/work order system. - Diagnose recurring equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. - Oversee building and utility systems including HVAC, boilers, compressed air, wastewater treatment, and electrical distribution. - Direct and train maintenance and facilities personnel; communicate priorities and expectations. - Coordinate contractors, vendors, and capital or automation-related upgrades. - Enforce safety, environmental, and security regulations; provide on-call support as required. - Support TPM and continuous improvement initiatives; act as backup for wastewater treatment operations. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience. - 8 to10 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibility. - Strong mechanical and electrical background with working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and controls. - Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings. - Experience with CMMS systems; JDE experience a plus. - Knowledge of TPM and continuous improvement practices preferred. - Wastewater Treatment Certification preferred. - Strong communication skills, high integrity, and ability to work evenings/weekends when needed. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). - Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including loud noise, high temperatures, and confined spaces. - Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and climb for extended periods.
