Purpose: IT Support Lead
The IT Support Lead is responsible for providing hands-on technical support, maintenance, and coordination of technology systems and equipment at the assigned facility. This role ensures reliable operation of computer systems, networks, and site technologies that support business and production activities, while working closely with IT leadership and external vendors. This role reports to the IT Director and may expand in scope as the IT function grows.

Responsibilities
Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners • Install, configure, monitor, and maintain computer systems and local network infrastructure • Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner to support business operations • Set up and maintain user accounts and access according to company procedures • Repair or coordinate replacement of IT equipment as necessary • Support local network components including switches, wireless systems, and connectivity issues • Coordinate procurement of approved IT equipment and supplies for the assigned facility in accordance with company policies
Maintain inventory records of IT assets for the assigned facility, including tracking of equipment location, status, and lifecycle • Maintain security camera systems and other site technology • Support production and warehouse technologies such as barcode scanners, label printers, and shop-floor equipment • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues • Consult with department managers to understand operational needs and recommend solutions aligned with IT standards • Assist with deployment of system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and new technology implementations • Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures • Support data security, backup, and disaster recovery practices
Serve as the primary IT support contact for the Brainerd facility with assistance to other locations as needed • Travel to other company facilities within central Minnesota as needed for coverage, support, and projects
Occasional after-hours work may be required during critical incidents or projects
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely climb ladders to maintain equipment (APs, cameras, etc.)
Education and Experience
Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience • Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-site environment • Experience supporting Windows environments and business applications
Work Environment
Dynamic environment requiring quick adaptability and responsiveness.
Providing face-to-face support to employees.
Ability to provide remote assistance via virtual help desk, Microsoft Teams, email, and / or phone calls.
Manufacturing environment with dust, noise and temperature variations.
Support and collaborate with other IT Support Lead.
