Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Lead Telemetry Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality care by continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and alerting the care team when action is needed. As a trusted expert and mentor, you’ll help train and guide others – building confidence, strengthening skills, and supporting a team that’s committed to improving human life – one heartbeat at a time.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring, interpreting, and documenting cardiac rhythms, and alerting nurses immediately to changes that may impact patient care
Managing telemetry setup, lead placement, equipment upkeep, and inventory to ensure continuous, accurate monitoring
Preparing and analyzing rhythm strips, updating logs, and maintaining patient monitoring records in line with hospital policies
Guiding and mentoring telemetry staff by leading training, onboarding, and sharing updates on new tools or processes
Enhancing patient safety by clearly communicating changes in rhythm, alarms, or signal issues
What qualifications you will need:
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
High School Graduate / GED
No Travel Required
