Job Summary and Qualifications
CT Supervisor
We are currently seeking a full-time CT Supervisor. As a CT Supervisor, you must be able to work in a technical capacity performing all duties encountered by a staff technologist and supervise technologists and/or ancillary personnel assigned to the CT Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain efficient, prompt, courteous service to 5 major areas in priority fashion: Surgery, ER, STATS, OP and IP
Offer solutions and develop action plans in response to patient, physician or service complaints
Coordinate all daily schedules for your department assuring no service delays
Organize procedural workflow to assure optimum efficiency throughout the department
Ensure all equipment is in proper working order avoiding costly downtime and unexpected repairs; Ensure preventative maintenance is performed properly
Maintain a cohesive team atmosphere of highly motivated, patient-focused caregivers
Assure continuous cross training of technologists and personnel
Qualifications
High school graduate (or equivalency) plus successful completion of college/technical training program in field of practice
Valid ARRT (CT) credential
Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
Minimum of 3 (three) to 5 (five) years of CT experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
Must be able to lift 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds
