Honeywell Principal Aftermarket Technical Specialist (LNG) in Bracknell, United Kingdom
We have an opportunity for a Principal Aftermarket Technical Specialist (LNG) to join us at Honeywell, remotely in the UK, where you will be responsible for providing operational guidance to our LNG clients, ensuring that their operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your role will also involve working cohesively with other engineering functions to develop new product offerings. A key aspect of this role is the requirement to travel to client sites to provide in-person support, particularly for commissioning, start-up and process optimization. Your LNG knowledge will be crucial in these situations. Additionally, this role is responsible for knowledge share to young talent. Your experience with clients and extensive LNG knowledge will be essential in developing the skills and know-how of our newer team members, enabling them to support client operations effectively.

Key responsibilities
Provide technical expertise to support client operations in the LNG industry
Provide in-person support for LNG client operations, specifically P&ID reviews, HAZOPS, commissioning, start up and optimization
Co-innovate with clients to develop new product offerings
Educate young engineering talent to support aftermarket services
Support process engineering function
Perform advanced process cycle simulations for natural gas liquefaction and related systems.
Complete detailed thermal design of proprietary heat transfer equipment (coil wound heat exchanger) manufactured by Honeywell LNG.
Key skills and qualifications
BS in Chemical Engineering
10+ years’ experience in process engineering for refining and/or gas industries, preferably LNG
Experience in use of process simulation tools such as Unisim and/or Aspen.
Experience in field services in the LNG industry
Flexibility and adaptability to navigate in a highly matrixed environment
Ability to travel up to 50% of your time
