Job Title: Experienced Auto Mechanic / Auto Body Technician (with Machine Shop Involvement)
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivatedAuto Mechanic / Auto Body Technicianto join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive repair and/or auto body work who is also eager to expand their skills into the machine shop environment. Candidates should have proven hands-on experience in auto mechanics or body repair, with a willingness to learn new processes and equipment where experience is limited.
Key Responsibilities:
::: {role="presentation"} Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles (classic and modern). :::
::: {role="presentation"} Carry out auto body repairs, including panel replacement, sanding, priming, painting, and finishing. :::
::: {role="presentation"} Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed for repair or restoration. :::
::: {role="presentation"} Assist in machining and fabrication tasks in the machine shop (training provided). :::
::: {role="presentation"} Work with both mechanical and cosmetic restoration projects, including classic cars and custom builds. :::
::: {role="presentation"} Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail on every job. :::
::: {role="presentation"} Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace. :::
::: {role="presentation"} Collaborate with team members on problem-solving and project execution. :::
Qualifications:
::: {role="presentation"} Proven experience as anauto mechanicand/orauto body technician. :::
::: {role="presentation"} Knowledge of vehicle systems, parts, and repair techniques. :::
::: {role="presentation"} Familiarity with auto body repair methods (welding, grinding, filler, paint prep, refinishing). :::
::: {role="presentation"} Basic fabrication or machining knowledge a plus (training available). :::
::: {role="presentation"} Ability to read and follow technical manuals, repair procedures, and work orders. :::
::: {role="presentation"} Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. :::
::: {role="presentation"} Willingness to learn and cross-train in new areas. :::
Preferred Experience (not required):
