Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2 to join their dedicated team. This is a Data Center Logistics / Operations Technician role supporting day-to-day operations inside a data center environment. The position focuses on hardware inventory management, shipping and receiving equipment, asset tracking, and ensuring compliance with data center processes . The person will also help monitor systems for errors, assist with troubleshooting, and maintain accurate inventory records using Microsoft Office tools and internal tracking systems.
The role is hands-on and process-driven , ideal for someone with experience working around IT hardware, warehouse logistics, or data center infrastructure.

Location: Boydton, VA
Pay Range: $26/hr - $29/hr
What's the Job?
Perform assigned tasks related to inventory management, including physical inventory tracking and staging.
Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, such as purchase order receiving and rack movement activities.
Ensure compliance with data center regulatory standards through audits and data corrections.
Assist with material movement, shipping, receiving, and inventory management following standard procedures.
Support the destruction of data-bearing devices in accordance with documented procedures and runbooks.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or IT environment.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Previous experience working in a data center environment is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, managing time efficiently.
Physical capability to handle PPE requirements, including high visibility vests, impact-resistant gloves, steel-reinforced boots, and ANSI Z89 approved hard hats.
