ManpowerGroup Construction Project Engineer 4 in Boydton, Virginia

Our client, a leading technology & data center infrastructure organization, Microsoft Corporation is seeking a Construction Project Engineer 4 to join their team. As a Construction Project Engineer 4, you will be part of the Construction & Engineering Department supporting onsite construction, QA/QC, and MEP coordination teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, excellent organization, and solid comprehension/problem‑solving skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

100% Onsite — Boydton, VA

Pay Range:

$59.83 – $65.83 per hour (W2)

What’s the Job?

  • Support daily onsite construction activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, schedules, and specifications.

  • Perform quality checks, documentation reviews, and support field inspections with emphasis on MEP and Bluebeam workflows.

  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve field issues and track action items.

  • Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and progress reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Maintain organization of drawings, reports, and construction records while supporting OT and fast‑paced schedules.

What’s Needed?

  • 5+ years of construction or engineering experience (industrial, commercial, or data center strongly preferred).

  • Proficiency with Bluebeam for markups, document review, and coordination.

  • Strong comprehension skills, communication abilities, and organizational discipline.

  • Ability to work onsite full‑time with expected overtime (approx. 10 hrs/week).

  • Experience supporting MEP systems, QA/QC activities, or field engineering tasks.
