Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Controls Project Manager local to Bowling Green, KY. This person will manage day-to-day execution of controls and automation projects, coordinating schedules, budgets, and resources from kickoff through commissioning. They will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams to define scope, track progress, and resolve technical or timeline issues. Daily responsibilities include reviewing control system designs, overseeing PLC/HMI development, and ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and performance requirements. The Controls Project Manager will spend time on-site supporting installation, startup, and troubleshooting activities as needed. They will run regular project meetings, provide status updates to stakeholders, and manage change orders and documentation. The role also involves identifying risks early, driving corrective actions, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Skills and Requirements
· 3-5 years of experience leading technical controls projects
· Strong knowledge of HVAC Controls, including familiarity with:
○ DDC (Direct Digital Controls)
○ Building automation systems (BAS)
○ Common protocols like BACnet, Modbus, or MSTP
· Proficiency in MS Suite and Procore
· Experience managing Project P&L up to $1M in budget · Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
· Experience with Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls (Metasys), Siemens (Desigo), or Honeywell
· Niagra IV certification
