The Assistant Director of Programming will be responsible for providing leadership in developing and implementing programming for The Center for Gifted Studies. Additionally, the position serves as editor for The Challenge magazine and provides proofreading and editing support for The Center's blog and other materials disseminated through The Center for Gifted Studies. This position will be in-person on the campus of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Assume responsibility for planning and implementing residential summer programming
Support other programming offered through The Center for Gifted Studies
Provide professional learning to districts and organizations
Edit The Challenge magazine and provide proofreading and editing support for The Center's blog and other materials for The Center for Gifted Studies
Initiate opportunities to be offered by The Center for Gifted Studies
Participate in grant writing
Other duties as assigned

Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple project tasks and deadlines independently
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and an endorsement/certificate in gifted education OR a master's/specialist/doctoral degree in Gifted Education and Talent Development or closely related field
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $50,000 - $58,000
