We're seeking a compassionate and committed School Psychologist to join a collaborative and student-focused academic team for a short-term opportunity in Boulder County, CO for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you'll utilize your expertise to provide elementary-aged students with the resources they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in the school environment.
Position Details:
Location: In-person in Boulder County, CO (hybrid or remote options are not available)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly
Grade Level(s): Elementary, ages K-8
Expected Start: September 2026
Expected End: December 2026
Responsibilities:
Provide direct support services to elementary-aged students with mental health needs identified on their IEPs, including individual counseling, group sessions, and social skills development.
Support the development and implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Provide crisis support as needed within the school environment.
Conduct evaluations in the social-emotional domain and participate in IEP development and documentation.
Deliver both direct and indirect services for students requiring interventions across teams at two elementary school buildings.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and well-being.
Qualifications:
Valid or eligible Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider license as a School Psychologist.
Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
Demonstrated experience providing school-based counseling, evaluations, and behavioral interventions preferred.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a passion for supporting student success and emotional well-being.
