Job Summary
The Walczak Lab is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Associate to support ongoing projects in stem cell biology and neurodegenerative disease modeling. Our lab investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying protein misfolding in disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, ALS, and other dementias. We use cutting-edge stem cell technologies to generate disease-relevant human neuronal and glial models. The successful candidate will work closely with other postdoctoral researchers and graduate students to maintain and differentiate human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), perform basic molecular biology assays, and assist with general lab organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in stem cell biology and neuroscience in a collaborative and fast-paced research environment.
