SciTec Master Scheduler (Microsoft Project) in Boulder, Colorado
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and maintain portfolio-level Master Schedules in Microsoft Project
- Align multiple internal program schedules into a coherent cross-program roadmap
- Coordinate with the Chief Architect and Chief Engineer to ensure architectural milestones, integration points, and dependencies are properly represented
- Ensure alignment between Technical architecture evolution, Development timelines, Integration events, External customer milestones
- Identify and manage cross-program dependencies, risks, and sequencing conflicts
- Provide schedule-based analysis to support executive decision-making
- Support scenario planning and "what-if" analysis to evaluate technical and delivery tradeoffs
- Maintain master schedule structures and Global files in MS Project
- Facilitate coordination meetings with internal program managers and external stakeholders
- Prepare schedule views and briefings for leadership and customer interactions
- Ensure internal and external milestone synchronization
- Improve and standardize scheduling practices across programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of professional experience in program scheduling, technical program management, or integrated planning
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project, including Master schedules and linked subprojects, Complex dependency logic, Cross-project integration, Critical path and impact analysis
- Experience supporting technical leadership (architects, chief engineers, or senior program managers)
- Experience integrating schedules across multiple programs or product lines
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
- Experience supporting complex software-intensive or remote sensing systems
- Familiarity with Agile program environments and hybrid development models
- Experience facilitating executive-level planning discussions
- Domain knowledge in defense, aerospace, or remote sensing systems (e.g., OPIR)
- PMP or similar program management certification

The pay range for this position is $149,000 - $175,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
