Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a talented COMSEC Lead to join our growing team!
In this role you were serve as the technical authority for the implementation and operational execution of communications security (COMSEC) supporting mission operations for a next-generation national security space ground segment, ensuring secure and continuous command, control, and mission communications.
What You’ll Be Doing :
Serve as the program’s COMSEC technical lead overseeing end-to-end COMSEC implementation and operational execution across ground segment systems and mission operations.
Coordinate key management activities including key generation requests, distribution, loading, operational key changeover, accountability, and destruction of keying material.
Plan and execute scheduled and contingency rekey operations tomaintainsecure mission communications and availability.
Integrate cryptographic equipment and key management solutions into ground networks, mission systems, and remote operational sites.
Coordinate with network and systems engineering teams to integrate cryptographic devices into architecture and data paths.
Lead response actions for COMSEC incidents, compromises, and equipment failures in coordination with customer authorities and operations teams.
Conduct inspections and self-assessments and implement corrective actions tomaintainoperational readiness and compliance.
Develop and maintain COMSEC operating procedures and work instructions aligned with operational practices.
Train program personnel on COMSEC responsibilities and reporting requirements.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring :
Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Security Management, or related field.
8+ years of COMSEC experience supporting DoD, IC, or national security programs.
Hands-on experience managing cryptographic equipment and keying material in operational environments.
Experience supporting classified networks, command and control systems, or operational communications infrastructure.
Knowledge of COMSEC policies, handling requirements, and key management processes.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring :
Formal COMSEC Manager/Responsible Officer training or certification.
Experienceoperatingwithin NSA Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) or EKMS.
Experience supporting satellite communications (SATCOM) or mission operations communications.
Experience interfacing with government COMSEC authorities or customers.
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
