We are seeking a confident, hands on Controller who is ready to take ownership of the accounting function during a planned leadership transition.  You will partner closely with the current Controller during a focused cross training period, then assume full responsibility for accounting operations, financial reporting, and job cost oversight. The books are clean, processes are solid, and the team is experienced and dependable. This is not a turnaround or clean up role. It is an opportunity to lead, maintain momentum, and support the business at a critical moment! What You Will Do: Oversee daily cash flow and maintain visibility into overall financial health Lead month end close, including review of reconciliations and financial statements Own job cost and WIP reporting, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and project tracking Review general ledger activity and maintain organized, reliable financial reporting Support and mentor a small accounting team, including payroll and accounts payable Partner with ownership to provide clear insight into financial performance What We Are Looking For: Controller or Accounting Manager level experience with ownership of accounting operations Strong job cost and WIP reporting experience Degree in Accounting or Finance Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs Experience in construction or project based accounting strongly preferred Details: Start date: ASAP!
