Job Summary- General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) Bothell is a key division of General Dynamics, specializing in the design and development of innovative guided munitions and critical space deployment devices. Located in Bothell, Washington, our facility focuses on delivering cutting edge products and technologies that support the critical needs of the defense and aerospace industries. With a strong emphasis on precision engineering, quality, and performance, GD-OTS Bothell plays a key role in ensuring the success of complex missions for our customers. Responsibilities- Essential Functions: Assist senior manufacturing engineers with process development, optimization, and documentation for new product development. Support the creation and modification of work instructions, tool requirements, and standard operating procedures. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Assist in the design, test, and implementation of fixtures, jigs, and other tooling and manufacturing aids. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and operations. Present work with internal and external customers. Qualifications- Required Qualifications: Completed a minimum of 2-3 years of Mechanical Engineering coursework, working towards a BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Oral and written communication skills. Attentiveness. Ability to understand and follow directions. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Travel Requirements: No or very little travel likely.
