Job Title: System Applications Support Specialist III – Supply Chain

Job Description

This role acts as a Sr departmental resource supporting the daily operations, security, integration, and optimization of Supply Chain system applications. The successful candidate will lead system enhancements, user support, reporting, and data analysis to improve operational efficiency and decision-making within the Supply Chain function.

Responsibilities

  • Manage system security and user access for Supply Chain applications.

  • Lead integration, testing, and implementation of system installations and upgrades.

  • Provide advanced support and training for Supply Chain system users.

  • Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.

  • Respond to and resolve system issues, escalating as appropriate.

  • Lead medium- to long-term projects and departmental initiatives.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to policies, procedures, and system processes.

  • Oversee maintenance of product and vendor master data.

  • Build queries and analyze procurement system data to generate actionable insights.

  • Develop KPIs and reporting to track and improve Supply Chain performance.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements.

  • Provide support and guidance to Level I and II team members on projects of moderate to large size, including solution design, testing, and outcome analysis.

  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and buy-in on proposed solutions.

  • Assume additional duties as required during public health or operational emergencies.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 5+ years of experience.

  • Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data to solve problems or design relatively complex systems and programs.

  • In-depth expert-level knowledge of and experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning system, preferably PeopleSoft.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience implementing and using KPIs to track and improve processes.

  • Strong ability to build queries to extract and interpret data; data analysis skills.

  • Knowledge of relational databases, design, and structures.

  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of visualization applications.

  • Well-developed familiarity with the components of the Procure to Pay cycle.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and administrative support.

  • Strong data entry skills.

  • Ability to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Regular reaching and grasping objects below shoulder level.

  • Regular grasping and fine manipulation with hands.

  • Regular proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.

  • Regular inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
