Job Description:

We are looking for a visionary Senior Product Management Specialist to take the helm of our flagship solution, leadCAST, and accelerate the growth of our newest innovation, assetCAST. You won’t just be managing features; you will be driving the value proposition for products that help U.S. water utilities solve complex environmental challenges. You will play a critical role in shaping a roadmap focused on real-world business outcomes. As the lead for assetCAST product family, your daily rhythm will involve high-level strategy and deep-dive execution. You will coordinate with the software engineering, design, marketing and sales teams and act as the voice of the customer. You will work toward strategic goals achievement under limited supervision. Your responsibilities include:

• Product Planning

Defines and drives commercial product roadmaps of moderate size and complexity through collaboration with internal stakeholders and market strategy, sales and development teams. Prioritizes, refines, and leads the product roadmap on moderately complex existing and proposed solutions within the market segment to meet key market and customer segment adoption milestones in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industries. Conducts foundational user research to gather and prioritize client needs and product requirements.

• Product Requirements

Engages with strategic customers and partners to gather requirements, prioritize needs, and understand business workflows. Conducts and may guide more junior staff in conducting stakeholder feedback sessions, workshops and/or interviews. Translate feedback into user stories and use cases for implementation. Share and communicate information about products to customers and users through blogs, white papers, and presentations.

• Product Acceptance Testing

Performs acceptance testing for moderately to highly complex products. Documents findings and details to trouble-shoot defects/bugs/errors. Works with the development team to replicate findings, perform root-cause analysis, and define a resolution.

• Product Development

Maximizes the output of the development team by participating in product development from conception to launch. Works day-to-day with development teams to oversee the flow of technical work, including participating in routine Agile meetings. Collaborates and facilitates sprint activities and creates and communicates requirement artifacts that translate business needs into executable requirements. May provide guidance to more junior product management and/or quality/test staff during product development.

• Product Marketing

Collaborates with marketing to help develop and maintain go-to-market plans and sales collateral for products of moderate complexity and size. Conducts, and may lead, product demonstrations, deliver presentations to customers and prospects and creates supporting marketing collateral.

• Staff Guidance and Management

Provides guidance and training for more junior staff. Mentors more junior staff and develop them for future growth within the discipline and firm. May supervise the work of junior designers on project work.

• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.

• 6 years of relevant experience.

Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proven experience managing software products end to end, from inception through launch, ideally within B2B SaaS environments involving complex, data intensive, or engineering focused products.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to deliver creative, technology driven solutions and inform roadmap prioritization.

• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross functional teams and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Demonstrated ability to elicit stakeholder needs and translate them into clear, detailed product requirements and deliverables.

• Experience with design, engineering, or data driven applications and technologies (e.g., visualization, architecture, GIS, analytics).

• Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies and product management best practices.

• Self motivated, creative, and highly collaborative, with a strong team oriented mindset.

• Hands on experience applying Generative AI, LLMs, and AI powered analytics to accelerate the product lifecycle, synthesize insights from large datasets, and support product, market, or competitive analysis.

• Background managing products that incorporate Machine Learning, predictive modeling, or AI driven design and prototyping tools, particularly in domains such as GIS, engineering, asset management, or environmental forecasting.
