Wayfair Senior Associate, Cross-Sell Strategy & Operations in Boston, Massachusetts
Salary Range: $83,500 - $92,250 per year.
The above base pay range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of Wayfair’s total compensation package for employees. Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commissions and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a comprehensive suite of medical, financial and additional benefits.
This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Boston HQ (Monday-Thursday will be working in office and Friday is work from home). This is not a virtual / remote position.

As Senior Associate, Cross-Sell Strategy & Operations , you will be the driving force behind increasing customer AOV through smarter "Basket Building" initiatives. You will bridge the gap between Tech enhancements and commercial execution. This role is a blend of data-driven logic overhaul, stakeholder enablement, and technical program management. You will be responsible for ensuring that our cross-sell engine is not only functional but optimized for maximum growth.
Key Responsibilities
On-Site Experience & UI/UX Optimization: Collaborate with product, engineering and commercial partners to launch "best-in-class" cross-sell interfaces. This includes unlocking shoppable media components for 150k+ products and enhancing carousel UIs to show critical details like brand value props and multi-item "add-to-cart" functionality.
Logic & Data Optimization: Lead the overhaul of recommended items for 5-10 core "classes" by applying data-backed decisioning . You will refine the underlying logic to ensure cross-sell recommendations are hyper-relevant and high-converting.
Stakeholder Enablement: Create and maintain high-impact Cross-Sell Training Materials and documentation. You will ensure that sales, marketing, and success teams are fully equipped to execute our vision.
Product & Vision Implementation: Act as a key contributor to the Vision Implementation roadmap, ensuring that new features and strategic shifts are rolled out seamlessly.
Specialty Related Item Management: Optimize performance of the specialty retail brands cross sell levers
Technical Quality Assurance: Provide ad hoc support for bugs and system issues, ensuring the cross-sell journey remains frictionless for the end user.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years in Operations, Product Enablement, or Commercial Strategy (experience with "Basket Building" or E-commerce logic is a plus).
Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to use data to change business logic. You should be comfortable identifying trends and making recommendations that move the needle.
Content Creation: Strong ability to translate complex technical logic into simple, digestible training materials for diverse stakeholders.
Adaptability: Comfortable navigating "ad hoc" challenges and technical bugs while keeping long-term strategic projects on track.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with looker, GBQ, and GenAI, is a plus
