Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Administrator to manage and organize project records efficiently. This role involves reviewing boxed records to identify permanent files and materials eligible for shredding or recycling, applying established document retention guidelines, and ensuring the accurate tracking of records.
Responsibilities
Review boxed records to distinguish permanent files from materials eligible for shredding or recycling.
Apply established document retention guidelines to closed project records.
Work efficiently through physical records by scanning and classifying contents.
Track record status, such as 'retain' or 'shred', using an existing tracking log or spreadsheet.
Add notes or update status fields as necessary.
Assist with related records management data entry as needed.
Handle construction, contract, and project documentation, including materials that may be confidential or employee-related.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience handling confidential or sensitive records is strongly preferred.
High attention to detail is critical, as records must be accurately tracked and dispositioned.
Comfortable following structured compliance and retention guidelines.
Work Environment
The position requires working 5 days a week in the office, from 8am to 5pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
