Wayfair Operations Associate in Boston, Massachusetts

Salary Range: $64,000 - $70,500 per year

Location: Boston-based opportunities with a 4 day in office expectation.

Wayfair is seeking collaborative, innovative, and adaptable candidates for full-time positions within our Operations team. Operations Associates will have the opportunity to gain experience in core functional areas at the center of our logistics and supply chain functions and contribute directly to the growth and success of the company. What You'll Do

  • Communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to management both within and outside your immediate line of reporting

  • Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams across Operations

  • Monitor key performance indicators and work collaboratively to improve the quality of our logistics and supply chain operations.

  • Support New Initiatives: Define the metrics and build the reporting needed to measure the success of new projects, ensuring they are on track to meet their goals.

  • Own Our Data: Act as the central point for collecting and consolidating data from various teams, becoming the go-to expert for ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

  • Streamline Workflows: Analyze our operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement and help us work more efficiently.

    What You’ll Need:

    Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of transferable experience in a corporate environment, including internship and co-op experience

  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to influence others

  • Analytical mindset able to process large volumes of data using a variety of reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)

  • Ability to distill complex information in a simplistic way via emails, charts, graphs, and other forms of presentations

  • Passionate about execution with strong interest to drive customer engagement

  • Desire to own projects from beginning to end, and thrive as part of a team as well as individually

  • Comfortability navigating a fast-paced, dynamic environment with little structure

Global Partner Desk

The Global Partner Desk plays a critical role in Wayfair’s supplier ecosystem, serving as the frontline partner for suppliers navigating our platform, tools, and commercial processes. We operate at the center of Wayfair’s marketplace, bridging suppliers, internal stakeholders, and technology to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and at scale. Our mission is to simplify complex workflows, drive self-service where possible, and route partners to the right experts when deeper support is needed - ultimately enabling suppliers to grow with Wayfair.

As an Associate on the Desk, you will operate at the core of e-commerce, managing a portfolio of supplier interactions while influencing broader operational strategy. In this role, you will lead initiatives that improve supplier experience, partner cross-functionally to drive process improvements, and contribute to scaling support through automation and smart routing. You’ll be responsible for analyzing performance metrics, identifying opportunities for optimization, and executing tactical plans that deliver measurable impact. This role combines hands-on problem solving with strategic ownership, offering exposure to how decisions across technology, operations, and commercial teams shape the supplier journey.

Wayfair's In-Office Policy:
