Job Title: IT Reporting Lead (Workday Implementation)
Job Description
The IT Reporting Lead (Workday Implementation) leads the design, development, and deployment of reporting and analytics solutions within Workday. This role ensures that business stakeholders across HR, Finance, and operations have access to accurate, timely, and actionable insights, while serving as the primary bridge between business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation of Workday reporting and analytics solutions, from requirements gathering through design, build, testing, and deployment.
Design, build, and maintain standard, advanced, and composite reports in Workday to support HR, Finance, and operational reporting needs.
Configure and optimize dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in Workday for HR, Finance, and leadership stakeholders.
Ensure that reporting solutions provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective Workday reporting and analytics solutions.
Apply strong data modeling and analytics practices to design scalable, reliable reporting structures.
Support regulatory, audit, and compliance reporting requirements by building and maintaining appropriate Workday reports and analytics.
Continuously review and enhance reporting and dashboard solutions to improve usability, performance, and data quality.
Essential Skills
6–10+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or ERP/HRIS environments.
Hands-on Workday reporting experience in HCM and/or Financials.
Proven ability to lead end-to-end implementation of Workday reporting and analytics solutions.
Demonstrated experience building standard, advanced, and composite Workday reports.
Experience configuring dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs for HR, Finance, and leadership teams.
Strong data modeling and analytics experience
Ability to serve as an effective bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Experience supporting regulatory, analysis, and auditing needs through reporting and analytics.
Experience in HR, Finance, or operational reporting environments.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups.
Work Environment
The role operates in a professional, technology-driven environment focused on Workday as the core HR and Finance platform. You will work extensively with Workday reporting tools, dashboards, scorecards, and analytics capabilities, collaborating closely with both business and IT stakeholders. The position typically follows standard business hours, with additional effort as needed during major implementation milestones, reporting cycles, or deployments. The environment emphasizes data accuracy, regulatory and audit readiness, and the delivery of clear, actionable insights to leadership and operational teams.

This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.
