American Tower Human Resource Business Partner in Boston, Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking a Human Resource Business Partner (“HRBP”) to join American Tower’s Human Resources team. Day to day you will provide general HR support for managers and leaders based in the U.S. You will partner cross-functionally to drive Human Resources and business initiatives and ensure smooth executions of Human Resource processes. You will work closely with other members of the HRBP community within the U.S. and international regions to create a consistent employee experience across American Tower’s global organization.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

  • A minimum of 4 years of Human Resources experience in an office environment with at least 2 years in employee relations, advising leaders on performance management, and talent development.

  • Experience supporting employees located in multiple locations preferred.

  • Approximately 10% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.

  • Proficiency utilizing MS Office applications to communicate information with a particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with Fusion HR or other Human Capital Management platform.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees on wide-ranging topics including ATC policies, benefits, career advancement, and company practices in a way that fosters engagement and consistency across all organizations and functions.

  • Partner with managers and leaders from assigned functional areas, including Finance, Legal, and Corporate teams, to help achieve their business objectives through workforce planning, employee development, performance management, and any other needs that relate to their team and organizational structure.

  • Support organizational design and restructuring efforts, including assisting with developing and implementing new structures.

  • Collaborate with corporate Human Resources functions such as HRIT and Compensation to support annual processes (e.g., performance and compensation cycles) and facilitate job or organization changes.

  • Partner with management on the annual performance review process to ensure clear and consistent feedback.

  • Support employee relations issues in a balanced, fair, and objective manner, using appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention, and mediation techniques.

  • Assist with coordinating and delivering training programs such as New Hire Orientation, performance management, and other initiatives.

  • Participate in various projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and enhancing employees’ experiences including conducting both stay and exit interviews.

  • Work collaboratively with Global HRBPs to ensure consistent approaches to service delivery in in all organization locations.

  • Produce and analyze reports from Fusion HR to support Human Resources and management decision-making.

  • Plan, organize, and deliver in person and virtual employee events to continue helping a culture of connection.

  • Assist with analyses to evaluate programs’ effectiveness and implement improvements.

  • Other duties as assigned.
