The BOM Planning Manager within the Integrated Business Planning organization will lead a variety of efforts with a focus on bill of material management in support of multiple programs. The candidate will enable accurate and efficient planning, execution, and management of BOMs to support production schedules and program requirements. The candidate must have strong communication skills and be a proven leader with a desire to be a change agent. This position requires the ability to work independently and requires continuous learning. The candidate should be a proven teacher and developer of talent, and must be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and be prepared to lead continuous improvement projects. Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency are a must.
What You Will Do
Manage a team of BOM planners that support multiple programs and Raytheon sites across the Sensors portfolio.
Support Program Offices, Material Program Managers (MPM), Program Operations Managers (POM), and Integrated Planning Leads (IPL) on BOM planning and execution.
Coach, train and develop your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence.
Assist and lead your team to success, which is measured through schedule executability and various metrics.
Identify potential misalignments in the production process (planned order, purchase requisition, purchase order, and work orders) and proactively work to keep supply compliant with technical requirements
Facilitate cross-functional activities to efficiently and accurately transition engineering BOMs to manufacturing BOMs, ensuring production needs are met and risk mitigation strategies are adopted.
Ensure execution and continuous improvement of standard processes and participate in or lead process improvement teams.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum five (5) years' experience.
Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software, such as SAP.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, asonly U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience working with MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response / Maestro.
Supervisory or managerial experience.
Deep understanding of the BOM process with a manufacturing environment using MRP.

- Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
