Specialty Networks is an integrated, multi-specialty organization with GPOs, Life Sciences, and Research solutions in Urology, Gastroenterology, and Rheumatology. Specialty Networks solutions include population health management, patient engagement, clinical research, and workflow automation technologies to achieve Center of Excellence status in Standards of Care, Clinical Research, Practice Operations, and Value-based Care. Specialty Networks leverages the Power of its Network, represented by over 10,000 providers, to help independent physician practices, industry, wholesalers/distributors, payers, and policymakers improve patient outcomes.
Job Summary
The Advisor, Pharmacy Operations and Account Management is a crucial link between our internal Specialty Networks teams and our GPO customers. You'll use your expertise in supporting accuracy of claims with state regulatory requirements, advising members for application processes for distribution, and supporting requests from our Medically Integrated Dispensary (MID) account management teams.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management:
Be a primary point of contact and trusted advisor for strategic programs groups, internally and externally.
Identify member needs and pain points, guiding them through state regulations, claims, and distribution processes.
Optimize Pharmaceutical Operations:
Analyze and improve workflows, supporting incoming claims and verifying accuracy based on state regulations.
Proactively resolve issues, using data to find root causes and prevent future problems and working closely with cross-functional partners
Ensure Compliance & Manage Risk:
Educate operations to adhere to Federal/State regulations and industry standards.
Prepare and review documentation for internal and external audits (e.g., for claims or contracts).
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years experience, preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field, preferred
Technical Skills: Experience with Pharmacy Management Systems (BestRX, PioneerRX, etc), preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of specialty pharmacy, HUB services, payer contracting, and reimbursement methodologies.
Competencies: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize projects and work autonomously.
Knowledge of Medically Integrated Dispensaries (MID) preferred
Experience with specialty pharmacy and GPOs, preferred
Ability to travel up to 10-15% domestically
Location: This position can be remote and based anywhere within the United States.
Anticipated salary range: $115,500 - $159,000
