Eaton’s Mobility Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at the Bosconero Valves Plant (Turin)

This role is responsible for organizing, planning, and executing production activities within the assigned area of responsibility. The Production Supervisor leads and coordinates Production Facilitators (Shift Leaders) through direct reporting and oversees production lines to maximize operational efficiency, while ensuring full compliance with quality standards, delivery commitments, and safety requirements.

The position works in close partnership with Plant Management on organizational and operational decisions and collaborates with cross-functional teams - including Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and HR - to ensure production continuity and the achievement of business objectives. The role actively contributes to performance reviews and participates in decision-making processes alongside Senior Leadership.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate and manage departmental production activities, ensuring production progress in line with the production plan

  • Set and monitor area objectives aligned with Plant and Corporate goals and be accountable for key production KPIs.

  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing HSE regulations

  • Coordinate activities with other plant functions (Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Technical Services, HR, EHS, CI) to resolve production issues, improve processes, and support industrialization and new product launches.

  • Lead and drive CI initiatives using Lean and LSS principles, supporting Kaizen activities, RIEs, and structured improvement plans.

  • Foster teamwork and employee engagement to achieve plant objectives.

  • Be accountable for product quality within the department, promoting a strong quality culture and leading problem-solving activities in collaboration with the Quality team.

  • Define and assign actions to reduce WIP, improve production flow, and reduce operational costs.

  • Develop and evaluate Production Facilitator performance, ensuring effective shift activity monitoring and timely communication with Management.

  • Collaborate with HR on employee selection, evaluation, development, and disciplinary management.

  • Be responsible for implementing Customer-Specific Requirements and supporting internal, external, and customer audits.

  • Promote skills development within the department, ensuring training, workforce flexibility, and structured onboarding of new employees.

Qualifications:

  • Higher education (minimum Bachelor or Engineer level)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a direct or indirect manufacturing environment, gained within structured industrial organizations.

Skills:

  • Experience in managing and coordinating production teams across multiple shifts.

  • Knowledge of key process quality tools (SPC, PFMEA, MSA, APQP, PPAP).

  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental principles, including Workstation Risk Assessment and Management of Change (MoC).

  • Familiarity with change management tools and methodologies (e.g., ADKAR) is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise systems (MES, ERP, or equivalent).

  • Fluent Italian, good command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Structured problem-solving approach and continuous improvement mindset.
