Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Boonville, NY is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead clinical operations, support nursing staff, and ensure exceptional resident care. RN Unit Manager Responsibilities
Oversee daily clinical operations of assigned unit
Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Ensure compliance with NYS regulations and facility policies
Monitor resident care plans and quality outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care
Provide staff coaching, education, and performance guidance
Participate in quality assurance and survey readiness efforts
Qualifications
RN license (required)
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Prior leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
Commitment to resident-centered care
Schedule
Full-Time
Day shift with on-call rotation as needed
