Compensation Range:51,100-64,000 plus bonus Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location. Job Purpose Provide technical and application support for EnerSys products and services, in the assigned area against profitable margins and in line with the business plan, in order to contribute to the realization of service-related sales and service targets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Field Service Expertise: Travel to customer sites to perform basic installation, preventative maintenance, and basic repair of battery equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and diagnose common technical issues, replace defective parts, and reassemble equipment. Provide on-site technical assistance and training to customers on the safe operation of their equipment. Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely, efficient, and professional service. Effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs, explain technical details, and resolve concerns. Act as a liaison between the customer and the company to ensure customer satisfaction. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards. Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Complete all required safety and compliance training. Administration and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and customer interactions. Complete timely reports, including service reports, expense reports, and quality alerts. Manage company assets, including a service vehicle, parts inventory, tools, and test equipment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Must hold a valid electrical license or be willing to obtain an electrical trainee card as a condition of employment, in accordance with industry requirements 1 + years of experience in field service or a related role, preferably in the electrical field. Basic mechanical aptitude and experience working with hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as schematics and manuals. Basic electrical understanding and experience with test equipment is a plus. Other Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as bending, stooping, and kneeling.
