JOB POSTING TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR
Monday Thursday, 40 hours per week, Full-time with benefits.
Classified salaried position with minimum starting at \$60,000. Pay is dependent upon experience.
EDUCATION:
Associate degree and three years of full-time employment in a position responsible for providing technology
planning and support preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical instructions and information
Ability to write simple correspondence as well as technical correspondence
Effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations
REASONING ABILITY:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions
Knowledge of current technology environments including telecommunications, networks, database
administration
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift and carry up to forty-five pounds
Must possess a valid drivers license
Must have full time availability of a suitable vehicle for transportation to all school district sites (mileage will be
reimbursed)
Available to work 7:00 am to 5:00 pm during the summer months as well as the school year
EXPERIENCE:
General knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
Working knowledge Windows, IOS and Chrome operating systems
Working knowledge of computer LAN/WAN networking
Working knowledge of Student and Staff Information Systems
Knowledge of GSuite for Education
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide reliable technology systems to all BCSD staff and students
Installation, configuration, and repair of computers and other technology tools district-wide
Provide limited staff training and logistical support of such things as purchase requests, E-Rate follow-up, and
inventory
Guide and monitor technology support staff
Keep superintendent informed as to status and needs of technology systems district-wide
Develop and monitor annual technology operations budget
Any BCSD staff interested in transferring to this position should submit a Request for Transfer form to the District
Administration Office on or before 4/13/26.
