KI Detail Ship Edging Assistant Team in BONDUEL, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for our next dynamic Assistant Team Leader. Could it be you? KI\'s Manufacturing Plant in Bonduel is looking for a second shift Assistant Team Leader for our High Pressure Laminate (HPL) Detail//Shipping/Edging Department. This individual must be able to effectively Assist Team Leader in completing orders on-time; point person for assigned areas to maintain production Be able to lead and assist a team through motivation, team building and conflict resolution Backfill Team Leader when not available Must understand the complete edging, detail and shipping operations Successfully meet all cell-based measures; involvement in continuous improvement efforts Provide customer service to internal and external customers Know how to read shop orders and open orders utilizing BPCS Good hand/eye coordination; above average attention to detail Ability to work on feet for a minimum of 10 hours per day upwards of 6 days a week when demand is high Must pay attention to quality, safety and production efficiency Must be able to work with minimal supervision Our Assistant Team Leader positions are \"hands on\" and report to our Lean Production Managers. The Assistant Team Leader must be able to promote, understand and be able to calculate and communicate all goals set for department regarding safety, quality and production. They must also ensure the cell is staffed according to labor standards. This is a second shift position. Hours are primarily 2p-12a with overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months). Qualified candidates will be highly motivated, inquisitive and adept at problem solving. Training will be provided on equipment but previous experience with manufacturing machines/equipment is preferred. Knowledge of the BPCS system is a plus. Successful completion of a drug screen will be required.
