Overview of the Role\ The User Experience (UX) Researcher will ensure that digital experiences across app and web are grounded in user insights. This role is responsible for executing methodologically sound research that informs product, design, and strategic decision-making. The position works closely with product managers, product owners, designers, analysts, and engineers to advocate for user needs and deliver intuitive, engaging, and user-centric solutions.

Top 3 Required Qualifications

1. 5+ years conducting UX research in digital product environments, ideally e-commerce or mobile app focused
2. Strong proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and data synthesis
3. Demonstrated ability to independently lead, scope, prioritize, and deliver end-to-end research initiatives

Other Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Anthropology, or related field
• Experience using tools such as Figma, UserTesting.com, Dscout, Dovetail, Marvin, or similar platforms
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
• Familiarity with agile product development workflows and UX design practices
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple concurrent projects
• Interest in the beauty, retail, or consumer experience space and a curiosity about user behavior
• Ability to provide mentorship or peer guidance to junior team members when appropriate

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct user research using methods such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, diary studies, and concept testing
• Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights that influence product strategy, feature development, and design direction
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure user feedback is integrated throughout the product lifecycle
• Communicate research insights through presentations, personas, journey maps, and storytelling
• Present findings in ways that drive clarity, alignment, and forward progress toward business and user goals
• Independently manage multiple research initiatives and maintain alignment with team priorities and timelines
• Contribute to the development and documentation of research best practices, processes, and standards
• Support workshops, ideation sessions, and cross-functional knowledge sharing using research insights
• Help maintain and optimize research tools and systems
• Stay informed about emerging UX research methods, tools, and trends
• Support special projects related to personalization, loyalty, or in-store digital experiences
