Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

The Quality Control Technician will work on the production line, performing quality control checks and ensuring adherence to standards. Responsibilities include conducting basic tests on products such as salt, acid, viscosity, and moisture, checking Critical Control Points with equipment like metal detectors and x-ray machines, and performing pre-op inspections and microbiological and allergen swabbing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control checks on the production line.

  • Conduct basic product testing for salt, acid, viscosity, and moisture.

  • Check Critical Control Points, including using metal detectors and x-ray machines.

  • Perform pre-op inspections and microbiological and allergen swabbing.

  • Oversee 1-2 production lines at a time.

  • Manage and complete sample loads, with a maximum of 10 samples per hour.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • 1+ Years of QC Experience in the Food industry

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolingbrook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
