Job Description:
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Performs routine maintenance and repairs on hospital buildings and equipment. Conducts inspections to identify and address maintenance needs. Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities. Coordinates with other departments to address maintenance requests promptly. Manages and maintains inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Performs minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs. Oversees preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and facilities. Responds to emergency maintenance situations to ensure patient and staff safety. Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Supervises and trains maintenance staff to ensure high-quality work. Collaborates with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks. Develops and implements maintenance schedules to ensure timely upkeep of facilities. Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within certain time frames [Preferred]
• Ability to work cooperatively with health system staff [Preferred]
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to change in workload and work schedule [Preferred]
• Basic computer knowledge [Preferred]
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. [Preferred]
Education:
• High School/Equivalent grad OR 5+ years experience [Required]
Field of Study:
• graduate or equivalent

$20.21 - $32.34
