1. Provides leadership, instruction and guidance to craft workers in work crew.\ 2. Provides assistance to Lead Carpenter / Journeyman.\ 3. Displays a positive attitude towards Safety, Quality, Policy and Procedures.\ 4. Has the knowledge of and exercises all of OSHA, Brand and Customer policies at job site.\ 5. Complete a qualified Job Safety Plan identifying the hazards and risks and implement necessary controls.\ 6. Select and use proper PPE as identified on the JSP.\ 7. Demonstrate proper site preparation prior to scaffold erection, modification or dismantling. (housekeeping, etc)\ 8. Erecting and dismantling scaffold equipment as part of a crew\ 9. Observes safe practices and use proper ladder climbing techniques\ 10. Participate and mentor crew to lead tool box talks on Safety and Performance.\ 11. Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies using proper lift technique.\ 12. Putting up caution tape, flags, and hang tags on flagging\ 13. Promote and Build Team attitude and complete other duties as required by Supervisor.\ 14. Must be able to perform the duties of the Lead Carpenter in his/her absence under the direct supervision of a Foreman.
