Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for an IT Technical Systems Analyst – Entry, Analyst, or Senior to join our Information Technology team. This role has multiple levels available with pay range as follows:
Entry Wage $37.15 - $46.44 Non-Exempt
Analyst/Senior Wage $96,595.20 - $140,108.80 Exempt
With moderate supervision a Technical Systems Analyst works on domain specific solution(s)/application(s). Their primary functions include solution assessment and validation; elicitation, analysis, management, and communication of requirements; design and documentation of solution(s); end user support; moderate troubleshooting and issue resolution; development and maintenance of basic reports and queries; basic system configuration.
This job resides within the IT organization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Entry IT Technical Systems Analyst:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field
OR
- An equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications
Experience:
- N/A
IT Technical Systems Analyst:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field
OR
- An equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications
Experience:
- 2 or more years professional level IT/business experience with a minimum of 1 year business analyst experience
Senior IT Technical Systems Analyst:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field
OR
- An equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications
Experience:
- 5 or more years professional level IT/business experience with a minimum of 3 years business analyst experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people. There may be occasional lifts of no more than 10 lbs. The above is a summary of the primary essential functions of the position. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Entry Analyst - Direct supervision is provided. Completed work is reviewed for reasonableness and conformity to agreed upon procedures and standards. Some field work and possible overnight travel.
Analyst - Minimal supervision is provided. Completed work is intermittently reviewed. Some field work and possible overnight travel.
Senior Analyst - Provide project leadership as needed. Periodic field work and possible overnight travel.
Temporary employees are eligible to apply for internal job postings. In order for your current position to be held for your return, qualified employees must have supervisory approval to participate and have been in their current position for at least six months.
