Job Description
Electrical Contractor in Boise, ID is currently hiring for an Electrical Project Manager for a large semiconductor project in Boise, ID. This is a phased-out project with work projected through 2027. The scope of responsibilities includes the cleanroom building envelope and telecommunications. The client operates on the Sell/Estimate/Manage model. Team members must be able to function autonomously and manage through change.
Pay - $50/hr. - $75/hr. (Depending on overall tenure, project management experience, experience working in an electrical contracting company, etc.).
Location - Boise, ID
Schedule - Standard Morning Shift
12 Month Contract-To-Start (Potential to extend)
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Oversee the electrical scope within the cleanroom building envelope, including FFUs, lighting, and safety showers.
Manage the newly expanded scope following the removal of the telecom contractor.
Function as a hands-on team member, stepping in quickly to address challenges and manage through change.
Lead project planning, schedule execution, job cost tracking, and job closure, maintaining full budget responsibility.
Write detailed scope proposals and manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals effectively.
Foster successful relationships and maintain a long-term mindset.
Qualification Requirements
3+ years of experience running electrical construction projects between $10-$50M in scope with full budget responsibility (approving change orders, project planning, understanding of schedule execution, job cost tracking, and job closure).
8-10 years of experience preferred.
Direct electrical construction experience.
Experience with telecom or clearnroom building envelope highly preferred.
Estimating experience is highly preferred (ability to write scope proposals).
Ability to work autonomously is a MUST HAVE.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
